Team India players are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the third and final T20I against South Africa with captain Virat Kohli leading the way on and off the field.

Kohli was seen sweating it out in the gym with teammates Shikhar Dhawan, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Navdeep Saini and Shreyas Iyer ahead of the match, which will be played on September 22 (Sunday) at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.

The whole squad, including the players who are in the Test team for the subsequent series which begins from October 2nd, is training at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Shikhar Dhawan posted a picture on his Instagram account after his workout with teammates. India’s fielding coach R Sridhar also commented on it.

“Steaming hot line up!!” Sridhar commented on the picture.

Kohli also met with former India captain Rahul Dravid at the NCA and shared the picture on his social media accounts.

India defeated the Proteas by 7 wickets in the second T20 international in Mohali earlier this week to take an unbeatable 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The first match was washed out without a ball being bowled in Dharamsala.

India will be looking to seal the series in Bengaluru before heading into the Test series against Faf du Plessis’s side. The first Test will be played in Visakhapatnam.

The Test series will see a big change in the Indian batting lineup with limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma set to open for the hosts along with Mayank Agarwal.

Rohit, who has been one of world cricket’s most-prolific batsmen in white-ball cricket in the last few years, will be replacing KL Rahul at the top of the order after the Karnataka batsman was dropped from the Test squad following his twin failures in the West Indies.
